The nine-spot Ethereum ETFs recorded no inflows for the day yesterday and lost $77 million to outflows in two funds.
Yesterday was an abysmal day of trading for Ether ETFs with only two out of the nine ETF products recording transactions that turned out to be outflows.
This inherently means that Ethereum ETFs are yet to record an inflow in 2025.
Farside Investors UK revealed that Bitwise ETHW led the outflows losing $56.1 million while Grayscale’s ETHE lost $21.4 million.
The remaining Ether ETF funds recorded no transactions for the day including Blackrock’s ETHA.
Ethereum ETFs have performed below expectations when compared to Bitcoin ETFs.
Bitwise CIO Matt Hougan projected Ether ETFs to pull in $15 billion in its first 18 months. This has not happened so far as it took Ether ETFs one full month to hit $1 billion in inflows.
